The oldest daughter is in Nashville.
Meteorologists really have them freaked out.
Here in N. Idaho we’re looking at 20’s and teens with mostly clear skys, thank the Lord.
I heard Nashville is supposed to get snow and ice. The ice is what gives me pause. That, and being Nashville, they probably don’t have the best snow/ice clearing ability.
I would think that the best course of action is to plan on staying home for a few days until it warms up and melts it all.
Oh-oh. Looks like the highs are in the 20’s and 30’s for the following week, and lows are single digit to teens. So much for waiting for it to melt.
If oldest daughter grew up in N. Idaho, I’d imagine she’ll be able to handle a little weather in Nashville.
We’re over in the Knoxville area. Three days ago, per forecasts, we were looking at 15” of snow, and 10-12 degrees. Now it’s 0” of snow and up to 30 degrees temps. People panicked. (”Wintery mix”, which need is good.) Forecasters always seen to be messing with us.
Yesterday I had to park in the back 40 of Kroger parking lot with so many people there shopping for provisions.
I’d like to see Idaho someday.
Here in the Columbia Basin, its the mid winter doldrums. 34 and overcast during the day and 31 overnight. Going on 2 weeks now.
They do that here in middle TN. It’s usually never that bad.
