The problems we are having today are definitively the white man’s fault. White men have made life too easy for too many people for too long, and now the people take it for granted. Many people now are just spoiled children, stomping their feet at every perceived slight, never appreciating the things they have, and always demanding more. Many more are jealous because their native culture could never deliver civilization at anywhere near the level we have in the west. Still others see our generosity, the product of our wealth, as weakness, and come here to prey on it. And others, overwhelmed by a misplaced sense of guilt, defend the pillage as some sort of penitence.

All of this has been brought about by a distorted, post-modern sense of reality. I think what we need is a good Depression era style a reality check. The good news is that we are probably going to get it.
