18” overnight was the worst I’ve had to deal with. 2004, Southern Wisconsin.
EVERYTHING in my world was shut down. It was the one and only day in my 10+ years at the Garden Center that we were closed!
I was snowed in at my farm for 2 days. My snow plow gal had to hire a skid steer to plow me out, we were THAT stuck!
‘87(?) my car broke down at the theater on KI Sawyer Air Base. It snowed that night before I could get it running. Like those guys at the end I had to tunnel my way to it the next day. It was too deep and too much to dig out the whole thing at one time so I went to my dorm.
It snowed that night.
Before I could get back to my car they used a front end loader to plow the parking lot and piled the whole parking lot of deep snow on my car.
It sat there under the pile until I could get it out end of March/start of April ‘88.
Heh heh. I was just thinking about how many people know about Kamchatka because they played Risk

"Kamchatka is game to you?"
