Elon Musk just dropped a NUKE on medical careers (Jan 2026):

“Don’t go into medical school.” Elon: “Yes. Pointless.”

Prediction: → 3 years → Optimus robots > best human surgeons on Earth (at scale) → 4–5 years → Best medicine in the world = FREE & better than what presidents get today

The moment he basically says goodbye to traditional medicine forever 👇 (1:19 clip)

Respectfully submitted: You appear to be unaware of the United States anti-electronics warfare capabilities. They can inject a virus from a military aircraft 10000 feet above the target computer.>

One more reason our side has to win the AI race...

”Abundance incoming”

When people have abundance without work, they become welfare queens. They vote for more taxes so they can plunder more of other people’s wealth. They will be lazy, stupid, and easily led. They will vote for Leftist demagogues. It will lead to dictatorship that enforces Leftist or Islamofascist ideology. Look at the UK to see how quickly an authoritarian government can take over.

Optimus is not just going to jump in and perform surgery at first visit is it? It’s going to do deep medical analysis. take samples etc etc before deciding if surgery is even needed at all. Grok is already giving excellent diagnosis today if you feed Grok your lab reports etc.

I found your comment interesting so I followed the link. Interesting a youtube video with comments turned off. So I googled Dan O’Dowd. Looks like ole Dan has a bug up his bum for Elon. Hundreds of posts on X all aimed at Elon. There were some interesting community notes added.

Dan O’Dowd owns a competing company writing self driving software.
ghs.com/products/auto_…

Dan’s previous attempt to show FSD will “run down a child” was debunked.
electrek.co/2022/08/10/tes…

Another user performed a test and it worked as expected.
teslarati.com/teslas-fsd-bet…

Tesla’s FSD has over 55 million miles driven w/o any reported injuries.

So while this robot may or may not pan out as Elon predicts, he has truly been a transformative figure.

My son had some very serious surgeries for cancer via robotics. Amazing. But not all of them.

One computer to another. Here is another of those slimy, disease infected, bacteria laden, worthless life forms that need constant upgrades. Fire up the composter.

And a lot of time you don’t know what brought them in until they head for the door and say...just one more thing doc.

Ah! So you have treated Columbo.

Interesting research!

I agree. Elon has been transformative. My reaction to him is caution as he comes across as a snake oil salesman. There is no doubt he has had a lot of positive impact. As far as my reaction, I listened to an interview with someone who had worked with Steve Jobs and Elon Musk. He said Jobs was about 75% “signal to noise.” Elon was 100% signal. But neither of them was pleasant to be around. That body language may be the basis of my skepticism.

Unless, of course, the system is Tempest compliant, or whatever the current state of the art happens to be.

Is this with the WiFi off or on?

No matter, until Big Pharma/AMA is reformed to actually healing patients, rather than creating ca$h cows, I’ll stick with the analog version that I can question (with some confidence) to find out if they’re members of Medical CULTure, or if they’re actually concerned about providing care with the hope of promoting healing & health.

FYI ..The first known hacker is often considered to be John Draper, also known as Captain Crunch, who exploited telephone systems in the early 1970s using a toy whistle to make free long-distance calls, a practice known as phreaking. This marked one of the earliest instances of hacking before the widespread use of computers.
