Oh I agree. Pluto TV is currently showing Mudd’s Women.
TNG wasn’t great, but it is when I thought of them creating a Star Fleet Academy. A missed opportunity, for sure.

A lot of actors who later became very famous were in Twilight Zone episodes- Robert Duvall, Robert Redford, William Shatner, Charles Bronson.
Agnes Moorhead gave the most amazing non-dialogue, ‘one-man-show’ performance I’ve ever seen in the TZ episode, ‘The Invaders’.

A lot in our culture is like this now, because the developers, writers, actors have no real education; and they’re playing to a largely uneducated audience.
But as bad as much in our ‘arts’ has become, this ‘Academy’ thing has to be the very worst I’ve seen.
