We were always told in LEO training back in the better days, before this de-escalation crap, in any confrontation with someone there is already a weapon available (yours) don’t ever let them take it, escalate quickly with force necessary or deadly force, if they get yours, you will be a statistic.

Letting some mouth breathing moron grab your weapon is the worst thing that can happen to a LEO. If it does not get you killed on the street, you will wish you were dead after all the razzing you get from your fellow officers.
This isn’t 2020, she isn’t George Floyd, and the mainstream American people have had a bellyful of these assclowns.
Did the LEO exercise restraint and not shoot the guy who was foolish enough to grab his firearm?

I think a pepper ball launcher - same thing I suppose. There is another video that shows the agent firing it and hits the guy in the left shoulder with it.
The still photo of the guy’s “anguished” face is probably shortly after he was hit. You can see the remnants of the ball and/or damage to the coat on the left shoulder.
That would probably be my face too if I got hit point blank with one of those things.

What an incredibly stupid thing to do. That man is alive simply because of the officer’s restraint and the fact that there was no finger in the trigger guard.
