Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s daughter admitted there was “enough truth” to the alleged billion-dollar fraud scandal plaguing the North Star State — as she opened up about her father’s abrupt decision to drop his bid for a third term.
Hope Walz appeared on “One Hour Detours” with host John O’Sullivan just hours after her dad announced he was bowing out of the 2026 governor’s race “to kind of get that target off of Minnesota.”
“I think there was enough truth to the fraud claim,” the 25-year-old said.
However, she then whined that President Trump and his supporters had twisted and amplified the scandal involving Minnesota’s generous social safety net.
Estimates vary, but the theft is thought to be at least $1 billion. First Assistant U.S. Attorney Joe Thompson claimed late last year that the fraud could be $9 billion or more.

It’s astonishing that people who view themselves as important are so clueless that they don’t know to simply say NOTHING. They see a microphone, and they start spewing language with no thoughts of the optics or impact. It’s just important that the world hear their thoughts.

The problem isn’t just her father’s fraudulent acts — it’s his entire worldview.
She probably is correct insofar as Musk has estimated $1.5T in fraud that they almost entirely wouldn’t allow DOGE to track down—for zero prosecutions.
Something sure put the fear of hellfire and damnation into that withered little soul of Tim Walz. He is a person who wholly lacks any conscience or empathy, and has few redeeming social graces. Also, he is not very S-M-A-R-T. But for the Democrat-farmer-Labor Minnesota version of the Green Party, he was just the kind of stooge that could be put in place and manipulated as they saw fit. Even to the point as being served up as a sacrifice and martyr to the cause.
Does anybody recall the Paul Wellstone memorial? The same kind of raucous revival commemoration will be heaped upon Tim Walz.
