Patience - let Trump carry out his plan...
The arrest of Maduro was made by agents of agencies other than the military. The military action was to enable the agents to access and arrest Maduro under a warrant issued some time ago by the DA of the Southern district of New York. I think the warrant was issued in 2022.
I do not know the other agencies but believe they are the DEA and FBI.
The operation was a law enforcement operation enabled by a military operation.
The actual arrest was by law enforcement agents
Good question. The assigned judge is reported to be an ancient anti-Trumper.
1) For this to be, as Trump said, a “police action” to catch an indicted in the US criminal, it has to be on the judicial side.
2) This will be delicious in terms of contrasting the Amazing Zohran and his Islamic/commie tendencies with Maduro. Will AZ be forced into supporting him? And if it looks like things are going the wrong way, Russia has requested extradition. I could see, if things go badly, the minute Maduro is “free” the Russkies take him with a U.S. blessing.

What statutes of the UCMJ has he violated. That is what military courts concern themselves with, military law. We know we already have indictments from civilian courts for him, but I’m not aware of what military statutes he may have violated. You want the military to try him, you need violations of military law.
Grow TF up
Was Noreigo? Was El Chapo?
He was indicted by a federal district courts, federal law enforcement issue.
People who constantly talk about military tribunals should about what would happen if they became a common solution to a thorny legal problem. Imagine military tribunals under a Rat administration! Do you want to find yourself in front of such a tribunal? (Look at the UK!) Military tribunals used in civilian legal matters historically lead to revolutionary tribunals like Revolutionary France, Nazi Germany, USSR. Obviously it wouldn’t happen here. Because of i guess magic!
Typo
should about = should think about
Not exactly. UCMJ punitive articles are for mil members and few civilians working with the mil. In the case of military tribunals, they can have and do prosecute any federal crime.
Insurrection is required for that. Doubt it would become 'common'.
Plata o plombo?
Oh you’re counting on restraint from Ratters, neo-Hellary wannabes & neo-Obamanoids?
That’s all you got? Resorting to insults instead of stating your point. You’re a real POS. And you call yourself a Freeper?
They will let hm go tomorrow, and unless we are willing to kill him he will be restored to office by Wednesday.
How will THAT "play in Peoria"?
Grow up
No, counting on patriots like this country always has. Before the left’s propaganda wore Americans down to the point where they concede what is right and all is lost because a segment of society has been pussified. ‘Peace’ and security over what is right. With justice, the losers you mentioned will be gone, more will rise as evil always does but freedom requires vigilance. The bench is over there; you can take a seat or stand with America.
Throwing out Constitution protection is always a good idea - NOT!
Here’s good advice!

Though I doubt the real Thomas Moore said this. If he did he certainly found ways to rationalize his way around it!
Which of course wouldn't be what would be happening here. Supreme court has 30 days to review all capital cases. If you are in a state of insurrection, you are the one against the Constitution.
