How to Survive Every Apex Predator(Hilarious and I have done one of these)
Good Enough ^ | Sep 7, 2025 | Good Enough

In this video, I'll break down how to survive an encounter with every major apex predator that has been known to attack humans. From the skies to the depths of the ocean, I will cover the tactics you need to know if you ever find yourself face to face with nature’s deadliest hunters. We start with the eagle, whose razor-sharp talons can inflict deep wounds, and explain why covering your head and eyes is crucial. Moving into the icy waters, the leopard seal, a swift and aggressive predator, requires you to stay calm, make yourself appear larger, and slowly retreat without splashing. When dealing with a reticulated python, one of the largest snakes on Earth, your survival depends on preventing constriction and targeting the snake’s head and eyes. The hyena, a powerful pack hunter with bone-crushing jaws, can often be deterred by making loud noises, appearing dominant, and never turning your back. Encounters with an orca, the ocean’s top predator, are rare, but survival comes from avoiding splashing, staying calm, and sticking close to boats or solid surfaces.

This guide arms you with knowledge that could make the difference in a once in a lifetime encounter with Earth’s most powerful predators.

I don’t think they touch on the obvious: be armed with powerful weapons.

Funny. He does not discuss protecting yourself while across the South side of Chicago at 10:00 PM on a calm midsummer night.

Nor fending off feral liberal lawyers and their socialist lobbyists in the wilds of Washington DC during their biannual election campaigns.

IMHO often the best defense from a predator is misdirection.

When I was married to my ex-wife, who often got angry, I'd tell her that her mother called to demand that she not visit her dying maternal grandmother. That'd usually buy me some escape time.

This guide is BS firearms take care of all predators normally in a shot or two.

We wiped out most predators and only in the last 50 years have let them make a come back.

Even a small caliber like a 33rf. does quite well

The 33rf is usually effective against movie creatures, but I prefer 10mm, 41 Mag and 44 Mag. Maybe it is just me.

OK, I'm familiar with the antique .32 Rimfire, which is way underpowered and too expensive to practice much with, but the 33RF is a new one on me.
