This market will not correct itself because you've got billionaires buying the best bodies leaving the universities with fewer billionair buyers in the dust..you will have 20 competitive schools..that's it..

the only solution is for colleges to drop sports altogether.

LOL - there are some teams that seem to be perennially bad.

NIL and the transfer portal will eventually lead to a group of elite, well moneyed universities ... and then everyone else. The NIL money is a big draw.
