“They were all in their late 70s or 80s.”
In 1963 I was in high school and was in math class when it was announced JFK was shot. The Clinton’s weren’t a thing until the 80’s. I’m in my mid to late 70’s now. And Marilyn died in 1962, only a year before JFK. (And partially because of JFK)
The problem is not being around to remember the incidents, it’s being able to remember anything at all at our age.

I’m about ten years younger, but so true! I used to have a good memory, but it’s getting worse as I get older. I like to say my mind is like a steel sieve. ;)
But I only meant death is not unexpected for them being 80, give or take, and I believe they all had serious ongoing medical issues.
I noticed Meathead is missing as well.
Missed Rick Derringer. Dies at 77.

Taht has nothing to do with whether songs liek New Math were funny.
I’m watching “Beat Bobby Flay” and
the opening showed Anne Burrell as
is usual
I enjoy watching Bobby Flay cook but
obviously all of his close acquaintances
are liberals; often raging liberals like
Katie Couric
How about a list of people that haven’t died but you wished they would...
Depends on when the show was recorded. No reason to change episodes of previous seasons.
Tiffany Derry and Jeff Mauro will host the new Worst Cooks of America.
I’ve wondered if they’re remembering her too
I wasn’t a particular fan but I had watched
her cook a few times over the years
Indeed but his main gig was as a mathematician at Harvard University. When his act became big, Harvard gave him an ultimatum - drop the comedy or find another job. He became a very bitter man who suffered from Reagan Derangement Syndrome and Bush Derangement Syndrome. I guess Trump Derangement Syndrome finally killed him.
Back when Harvard was still serious about education.
That’s quite the deadly outbreak of death! Quick, mask up, distance, and pray!
The fact remains.
“... but it’s getting worse as I get older...”
Maybe it’s not worse, but better. When you find out about things in your past and re-learn about them, the good times you can celebrate again anew. And you can be happy you weren’t there for the bad ones.

I guess that’s one way to look at it! Thanks.
