Brigitte Bardot, the French 1960s sex symbol who became one of the greatest screen sirens of the 20th century and later a militant animal rights activist and far-right supporter, has died. She was 91.
Bardot died Sunday at her home in southern France, according to Bruno Jacquelin, of the Brigitte Bardot Foundation for the protection of animals. Speaking to The Associated Press, he gave no cause of death, and said no arrangements have yet been made for funeral or memorial services. She had been hospitalized last month..

2nd* young boy crush I had was on her from seeing Look Magazine and similar photo stories. Amazing how many today have the look of her face and her hair.
As the third picture down in this article. All the weather forecasting women and the women on Fox News have her look without knowing how it all began.
*1st crush at age 10 was on the brunette bad girl daughter of Ming the Merciless in Flash Gordon. Princess Aura (Priscilla Lawson). Amazingly years later I realized I saw a strong resemblance to her in my lifelong true love my later wife Joy.
Survived by her son, 65, granddaughters, 40 and 35, and three great grandchildren.
Come on, she was 91.
It is a face of character, courage and intrigue. If I were to see such a person in my own city, I would take notice of and wonder about her.
I think she looks fine. She aged and never went the botox/plastic surgery route. Live long enough and we all get there.
