Just wondering if any other Freepers are spending this Christmas Eve solo. Just my trusty greyhound and me here, settled in for a relaxing evening with a latte, Ralphie Parker and George Bailey.

Yes, I am. Just me and my miniature dachshund Tammy, curled up beside me. It’s been over a decade since I’ve gotten to share Christmas with anyone.

Alone for a while, then off to Midnight Mass in a few hours. It’s good to see everyone here!
Alone now but I was at Christmas service earlier. Singing carols at a nursing home tomorrow morning organized by the church and family in the evening. Merry Christmas to all the loners tonight.
Yes, my wife Elaine passed away in April. It is only the dog Jake and me this holiday.

No, thank the Lord. But I’m at the age where every holiday could be the last I am allowed with my wife, and the thought is unbearable that one of us to will have to go it alone.

I am solo in my new house in Florida. Escaped finally from Washington State.
My nearly 14 yr old basset hound are together. Can’t fly my dog, so unable to be with any family this year.
Wife and son went to Christmas Eve service. I’m here alone, still getting over a mild flu. Don’t want to spread this during the holidays....

I am going to head to a Latin rite midnight high mass I a few hours.
I have to do something different.
Just me and the bird wife’s bird of 25 years Izzy She passed on Dec 18. After funeral did not want to go Christmas Eve Party but will do Chistmas at inlaws nice people
