Back in 1980, I was a 3rd Class Radioman onboard the USS Gridley (CG 21) (what I did not find out until Kerry ran for the Presidency is that he was also an officer onboard the Girdley back when he was a junior officer, before transferring to Viet Nam).

In January or Febrary of 1980, the ship deployed on a 6-month WestPac. During that deployment we were ordered to Mogadishu, Somalia to show the flag. The story we got from the Captain was that the Somalian government just kicked the Soviets out of their country and we were going there to show the flag in order to get on their good side.

When we arrived in Mogadishu, I was surprised to find it was a good liberty port. Venders to buy their home-made crap and plenty of bars, They had a good night-life.

The irony I see is that liberty visit was probably the step in getting to recognize the country and get friendly with that government. Being a young sailor at that time, I had no idea of their corruption. Probably the same with the majority of the crew. Than about 12 years later during the Clinton administration, we had Black Hawk Down.

I remember seeing the photographs of Mogadishu after several years of Islam rule. It was a crumbling war-zone. The lively little town with a vibrant night-life was long gone.

And now, decades after Black Hawk Down, they are over here, human cock roaches destroying the very fabric of the United States.

Obama and Biden seems to have succeeded in their mission in changing America by importing criminals and hucksters to spread corruption throughout the Nation.

When you say Mogadishu had a great night‑life in 1980, do you mean they had actual cocktail lounges with dim lighting, fog machines, and overpriced martinis, or was it more the kind of ‘night‑life’ that appears whenever a Navy ship docks and locals realize naive young sailors have cash?

Should I be imagining something truly sophisticated — maybe a Desi Arnaz‑style rumba band shaking maracas under soft pink spotlights, an orchestra in white dinner jackets à la the old Copacabana — or was it more the kind of establishment where the main décor was a flickering light bulb and a hand‑painted beer sign?

I’m just trying to picture the morning after. Did you wake up wondering why you were clutching a feather boa and humming ‘Babalu?’ Or were you desperately wondering where you could get a quick shot of penicillin?

Regards,

Thievery has its benefits. It is no accident Somalia has experienced its greatest period of growth starting in 2010 when Somalians starting migrating here in droves. Looks like Minneapolis has been making Somalia great since 2010. The World Bank reports remittances from Somalians in the US amount to 30% of Somalia’s annual GDP or over 1.7 billion a year since 2010 when they started growing. Contrast that with second place remittances to Mexico whose remittances from the US only added 3% to their GDP growth.2023,just after the covid period under Biden when his administration was buying votes with the trillion dollar NGO giveaway programs was their biggest period of growth.

Number one concern of the GOP is he Epstein Files. We still have the filibuster, we still have RINOS. It’s amazing that Trump gets anything done.

How come Obama & Biden aren’t both serving time before now?

George W. Bush brought in the first ten thousand back in the 1990’s. Obama brought in fifty some thousand during his tenure.

“How come Obama & Biden aren’t both serving time before now?”

IMHO: The same reason rfk jr is head of HHS, blondi is head of DOJ, patel is head of FBI and NONE are doing ANYTHING to punish plandemic era crimes, FIRE those responsible or reverse criminal policies, let alone cleaning house re Russia Collusion.

Additionally, it’s why congresscritters get away with doing nothing as well.

Feel totally distracted by events yet? /s

In my view, it is why POTUS is being permitted to operate as he is (i.e., ‘hands off’). DJT is in over his head and the fate of the country is in ‘their’ hands. The ‘invasion’ was THEIR design and obama/autopen were just useful idiots. I don’t think Vance/Rubio has a chance. They won’t permit it, unless the additional delay is by THEIR template. I don’t thing we’ve seen anything like what’s coming with the next dem admin. Absolute devastation sure to come.

We would all do well to tar & feather - LITERALLY - our elected reps as a message to their replacements as to who’s boss before the S truly HTF, but part of me suspects that ‘they’ are not going to sit idly by for another 3 years and that it’s already too late.

But of course, I could be wrong: The US Marshalls backed by US military could tomorrow round up HUNDREDS of insiders & bureaucrats for their crimes - including huey & dewey - but I’m not holding my breath (i.e., not stupid).

[rant over]

Benedict Obama and Sniffy Senile.

Both installed a bunch of third-world stooges as Article III “judges”.

In Sniffy’s case, the AutoPen installed them, so them and their fake “decisions” are illegitimate.
