Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, were killed by their son, Nick, who is currently missing, multiple sources confirm to PEOPLE.

On December 14, 2025, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported finding two deceased persons—a 78-year-old male and a 68-year-old female—inside Reiner and Singer’s home in Brentwood, Los Angeles. The identities of the bodies were not immediately reported. Shortly afterwards, it was confirmed that the bodies found were Reiner and his wife. Senior law enforcement officials report that both had stab wounds, and their deaths are being investigated as homicides as of December 14. However, People confirmed with multiple sources that Nick Reiner, the couple’s second son, killed them.

Reiner and wife were probably on a nice enough but distanced basis with him. They let him inside, and he killed them up front and personal. (my guess)

Every murderer is MAGA until proven otherwise, just like they’re not black, Islamic or trans-addled.
Despite his terrible politics Reiner was a great director and creative genius. He should be remembered most for that and not the foibles and character faults we all share to some small extent - even those who’d never act upon them.
