The first year of Trump’s term is almost over, and they still aren’t confirming his nominees. And the Republicans actually expect to win at midterms...
This Congress has sat quietly and watch Trump look for executive orders, workarounds, temporary appointments, the Judicial Insurrection, etc. And they haven’t lifted a finger.
And the Republicans actually expect to win at midterms...
They want to lose.
Yep. This is not what the people voted for.
Trump threw the dying GOP a lifeline - and they pissed on him.
The country is ripe for revolution, and only one party is animated by a revolutionary spirit.
The first two years of Trump’s first term were golden years. Republicans had the White House, plus both houses of Congress. But not much came out of that.
By good fortune, we are now in two golden years again. And it’s the same damn thing. Congressional Republicans are acting like it’s still 1955. Well, it’s not.
Perhaps they will understand when the radical Democrats take over for good.
“ And the Republicans actually expect to win at midterms...”
I doubt that they expect to win. This is 2018 all over again. SSDD.
For most of the past year the RINOcrat representatives and senators have openly displayed their TDS treachery.
The Republican senate has not yet confirmed 131 cabinet nominees for its own party’s President.
Does anybody think they will pass any type of meaningful legislation? No they won’t. They are waiting for Trumps term to expire just like the Democrats so they can all go back to stealing and wasting taxpayers dollars.
The Republicans don’t want meaningful reform. They like things just the way they are. This is why I pray Trump is getting ready to issue a national emergency order and step in to make some arbitrary decisions with congress and the judiciary sitting on the sidelines. Otherwise we are all screwed.
Can’t these nominees be backdoored by getting them confirmed in strong red states and then moving them into impossible leftist districts?
