SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – A Seminole County judge on Friday sentenced a man to death after he was convicted of killing his pregnant girlfriend when she refused to get an abortion.
After roughly two hours of jury deliberation, a jury in October found Donovan Faison guilty of first-degree murder and killing an unborn child. The penalty phase began days later and ended with an 11-1 vote by the jury recommending the death penalty.
The case stems from the November 2022 shooting death of Kaylin Fiengo, who was found shot in her car at Coastline Park in Sanford.
Fiengo was 18 years old and pregnant when she was killed.
Prosecutors presented evidence that Faison killed Fiengo because she refused to terminate her pregnancy.

I asked my sister why do these women make such horrible choices? Fortunately, not all do, but she said she thought many of them choose bad boys, because bad boys give these ladies an adrenaline rush, as they live on the edge.
If you can abort an unborn child legally you cant convict someone of murdering one. This is where these laws are incredibly inconsistent and hypocritical. Because the unborn child is only a person if a woman wants it, and that is not an objective, sound basis for law. An unborn child is a person because it’s a person by definition, not because anyone wants it.
The choices men and women make in their “partners” is a testimony to the powerful effects of testosterone and estrogens on their minds, respectively.
It’s not the only factor, but a very strong influence.
There is deep ideological opposition to the death penalty on the Left. With multiple levels of state and federal judicial review, there are ample opportunities for delay. Most of that delay is normal, but the most aggravating cases involve factually and legally invalid claims by defense lawyers.
Why do you think were fighting to make abortion illegal?
We have won in some states. In fact Florida is one of those states because odd are she could not have gotten one anyway. Florida has a 6-week ban, part of the Heartbeat Protection Act, took effect in May 2024, following a Florida Supreme Court ruling.
That timing is clever because most women don’t realize they are pregnant until 12 weeks.
Forget letting him ride the lightning... Put him down the same way he wanted that innocent little baby killed. Scissors and forceps, a piece at a time...
Old Sparky is ready....Try him QUICKLY, Florida!!
White women NEVER learn from their mistakes until it’s too late. Just like the women involved with the Michigan football coach.
Surely there is some Greek Dipstick Court Skank judge who can get this conviction thrown out. Homicide is legal in the Dipstick Courts with their retarded skanky “judgettes.”
Well ... I see the problem.
When will white girls learn? Or maybe they WANT to be featured in a true crime episode on ID and/or Oxygen. There is that.
OUTSTANDING!
Why in the world would any sane white girl have anything to do with a black primate? They don’t do black girls that way because they’re just as violent as the male of the species.
Another black guy killing his white girlfriend. Another statistic. It is so sad.
He has the look of of a man that has spent a lifetime on EBT, crime, drugs, and violence. Judging a book by its cover, but - I bet I’m right.
Second guesses that are very likely right: No dad in the homes he grew up in, low IQ, high school failure, and thinks the world owes him everything.
Hopefully less than 20 years with the recent reforms.
Luckily, both of my daughters chose good men. One married, one engaged. All four are smarter than I was at their ages…
That has my vote.
Charlie Manson got mail by the truckload and money as well. He always had lots of money on the books, for canteen goods.
I bet a Democrat governor will be in office within 20 years, and find some reason to let him out.
