1975 When I was a kid, my parents took in a refugee boy from Vietnam. we thought he was a 16-year-old and only found out years later that he was 20 years old at the time my parents fostered him. he lied to the refugee officials because single refugee men without families were stuck in the refugee camps but if you were an unaccompanied minor several aid organizations would sponsor their entry to the United States .... Anyone of an undocumented age given should be in Question if they are claiming to be a teenage child. lying about age by young men to gain access to a country has a long history

Sounds liek the show ‘The curious case of Natalie Grace”- a ukranian adoptee- but they aren’t sutre how old she really is- it was a weird weird case all around- the adopting parents were really bizarre people-

we only got one drunk phone call from him years after he left the house. thats when we found out he was 20 when he came and lived with us for about 16 months...all I know is at the time he called he was married and had a child. have no idea where he is today
