I never used an acoustic coupler attachment on the phone handset. But I did have 300 baud or 1,200 baud long before 56 kbps came out.

I used both an 8” and 10” Floppy, plus I programmed using punch cards and key punch machine.
I did oversee the spare Priam 14” hard drives for Rolm/IBM. Uses papertape on a PDP 8 instead of cards.

One point. I never used an 8” floppy. Same here. I didn't know they existed.
Now I understand what my wife meant before we married when she said that an 8" floppy is worthless.
