Hey, I remember when RAM went DOWN to $10,000.00/MB
This house just went up for sale in the North End of Manchester, NH.
The pictures have a TV similar to what you have.

This house has not changed much since it was built in 1972.
It reminded me of my mom’s house after she passed six years ago.
The 1964 fair was to be themed “peace through understanding”.[17][71] WFC member Jerome Weinstein suggested the motto, which was inspired by an ideal Kopple had wanted for his daughters.[71] According to Moses, the fair was intended “to assist in educating the peoples of the world as to the interdependence of nations and the need for universal lasting peace”
The theme of the 1939–1940 was “the world of tomorrow”;[17][18] the event was unprofitable, recouping only 32% of its original cost.[18][19] After the 1939 fair, the site was used as a park,[20] but fell into disrepair due to a lack of funds
It was a FLOP.
“Mt. Rushmore, Devil’s Tower, Yellowstone, Snake River Canyon, Cody, WY, Craters of the Moon, North Rim of the Grand Canyon.”
We hit all of those in one trip in the Econoline camper.

I did all of those. 56 kbps? Wow, best I had was 24.
I guess I really am older than dirt.
I had an 8 track player AMD a recorder.
Tube stereos are back. As are vinyl.
My teen daughter uses both with regularity.
The new tube systems are not remotely as finicky and unreliable as the old ones, but you still that rich, warm, sound.
hey now
“The ultimate packrat here.” — Wow, sounds like it!
I’ve gotten rid of everything old as new things came in. My first house was 30’ x 30’ including a one-car garage and three bedrooms! About 750 sq ft living space. No room to be a packrat. Then we moved up to a 1,550 sq ft rancher built in 1952 (living space) and thought we were in a mansion. We sill own that place.
In 69 we drove in a pickup truck camper, 9 of us (3 adults and 6 kids)! from NY to California. 3 in the cab and 6 in the camper. The kids slept in tents and adults in the camper. The only time we got a hotel room was to watch the moon landing. Great memories!
Cool! You remember all the fun spots, too!
LOL! I had one of those along with a green screen dumb terminal in my house. I also used a teletype terminal with a paper tape reader.
Of her favorite blues I’m sure
Wow, that was cool! Never saw it.
My dad bought a new 1967 Mercury Cougar that had a 4-track player. He was pretty annoyed when 8-tracks came out shortly thereafter.
Last time I saw 8-tracks for sale was in 1988, at a truck stop in Wells, NV.
If you lived in the city or went to a party in the 80s you probably heard music from a boombox whether you owned one or not.
