“...the grenades are suspected to be military issue...”

Is there any other kind?

Ten grenades… well, that’s something. But this guy has that beat. He actually had a Panther tank hidden in his basement.

Washington state.

If the other Washington, what if he and Brian Cole, Jr. had met and got to be pals.

“I don’t actually care for fruit.”

“Neither do I.”

Shouldn’t there be a yellow band on them?

The grenades are not functional as a "pull pin and throw it" weapon: if you look on the fuse assembly, you will see an open pin hole that would normally be taken up by the metal pin that holds the striker and striker spring in place. They could be made functional in other ways, but I won't list those ways.

The HDP-1 does appear to be the real thing. It is used as a booster charge to initiate the main explosive such as ANFO or the explosive slurry mixtures used in commercial blasting and clearing of rock for construction purposes.

I hope they noticed the blasting cap in contact proximity with the booster charges. Those babies are either composition B or perhaps PETN. Those are large, more dangerous than the grenades.

What pond fisherman never wished he had some live grenades on those days when they weren't biting?

Fire the contractor for stupidity.

We’re talking zombie central. That’s the backup plan!
