I agree the Europe is dying, many same issues that the US faces, but it is curious how so many of the i don’t care about Europe, America first folks are quick with condemnation of Europe and Ukraine but are silent on the near total censorship of free speech, and unalienable rights going on in Russia.

Russia isn’t in NATO and isn’t an supposed alliance.
Because we’re not allied to Russia. We haven’t massively subsidized and defended Russia for several generations.
Russia is a known dictatorship and violator of human rights. It doesn’t share our values. NATO countries are supposed to be democracies that share our values, Turkey excepted. They are our allies.
Our NATO allies must take on more of the defense burden. Since 1945 the U.S. has provided the security umbrella for Europe paying a disproportionate share of the burden, which has allowed Europe to establish generous welfare states. As the world’s largest debtor nation, the U.S. can no longer afford to provide the bulk of the costs for Europe’s defense.
Why bring up Russia and Ukraine? They are not in NATO.
In Russia, you can say whatever you want. You can go out and preach the gospel. In the UK, that'll get you arrested.
In Russia, you'll get arrested for speaking out against Putin regarding the war in Ukraine. But everyone in Russia knows that is off-limits. So the restrictions are clear.
In the UK, you're not really sure on what is considered to be "hate speech". You don't have to worry about that in Russia (although they are not going to tolerate you if you are known to be openly gay).
