How the EU has targeted Elon Musk and ๐ over the years:
โ June 2023: The EU audited ๐โs safety systems and flagged weaknesses in handling hate speech and disinformation.
โ October 2023: The EU issued a warning letter accusing ๐ of spreading misinformation during the Israel Hamas conflict.
โ July 2024: The EU offered ๐ an illegal secret deal stating that if ๐ quietly censored speech without informing the public, they would not fine ๐.
โ August 2024: The EU attempted to stop Elon Musk from hosting a live Space on ๐ with President Donald Trump.
โ January 2025: The EU stepped up its probe into Elon Muskโs ๐ days ahead of Trumpโs inauguration.
โ December 2025: The EU fined ๐ โฌ120 million for violating the EUโs content legislation rules under the Digital Services Act.
Why are they afraid of @elonmusk? Why do they fear a platform that gives people a real voice?
