A black man was acquitted of stabbing a white man in Oregon after he claimed the attack was self-defense because the victim called him a racial slur.
Gary Edwards, 43, was charged with second-degree assault for stabbing a man in Portland near a light rail stop on July 8, KPTV reported.
However, he was found not guilty of the crime on October 31 after the jury learned the victim was using racial slurs in the aftermath of the altercation.

That’s like the anti voter ID contention that minority voters have too much trouble finding a way to show their identity and residence.
As though people who can rent a car or UHaul, register at a hospital for elective surgery, have a prescription filled at a drug store, or in the old days rent a movie on dvd, are not smart enough to cope with voter ID requirements.
At least in democrat rat magnet cities.
If this actually happened this way, which I doubt, I’m sure the story will be picked up by a news source with at least a shred of credibility.
Until then, I’m not going to get all outraged by something from the Daily News.

OMG we are doomed. I might use the n-word too if I was stabbed by a black man. The feeling of a knife entering your body can produce impolite reactions.
Also from that same article about Howard (the stabbing victim)

He called him the N word AFTER he was stabbed??? Outrageous!
One moral of the story: Stay out of any city run by radical Democrats.
I put “radical” in there because although my town is run entirely by Democrats, they are of the JFK kind. They still believe in law and order.
I haven’t seen any weirdo Bernie Sanders types yet. But I am seeing more and more Muslims. Can’t figure that last part out. I live in an old mill town. I suppose any infidel territory is fair game.
Moments later, body camera footage from security officers captured Howard shouting a racist slur at Edwards after he had been stabbed.
It is unclear if there is any evidence to suggest that Howard used the slur before he was stabbed.

You know, I know about a half dozen times when a black guy called a friend a “honkey”, “white POS”, or “white supremacist”, yet not one of them stabbed the black guy making the slur. By precedent, I guess it’s okay to stab them now.
Every lefty say they aare not.
This is the court ruling blacks have been waiting for.

Sure enough sound like it... Of course, in this screwed-up judiciary we have in this country today, it may only be good for the ‘n” and not for us....the day’s coming though.
Another case in which the Jury needs to go to jail because they did not take their responsibility seriously.

What a crock of s. AFTER the fight he allegeedly uttered “NEIGHBOR” and the jury thought this after the fact was enough to declare the violent pavement ape was not guilty... I would avoid Portland.
One of the engineers who interned for me moved to that fetid city. He is a black St Lucian. He HATED the patronizing subtle racism of the Portlanders. They treated him as if he were a child. He went to college in Texas and even when he faced some southerners using more...colorful... language he just rolled with it. But the liberals were insufferable racists.
