The midterms are looming -- and the specter of death for a representative republic

A republic, if you can keep it.

Republicans better get their act together — and quickly. That said, I’m also urging pigs to fly.

I say this because the last, best hope for the Last, Best Hope will have expired on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026 if they do not. And I, for one, I'm not holding my breath.

At this point, I fully expect Republicans to lose the House and possibly the Senate, effectively ending Trump's presidency and the MAGA Revolution. I know this opinion won't sit well with many of you, but, sadly, I believe it to be the truth.

One might logically ask how this could be possible given that many of the views and policies Democrats promote are unpopular with the majority of Americans, and the fact that Republicans currently hold the House, Senate, and presidency?

There is at least a three-part answer to that query: rampant cheating on the part of Democrats, idiocy on the part of a misinformed electorate, and extreme cravenness on the part of Republicans.

If Republicans do blow it, they will have squandered their last chance to fundamentally transform the nation back to its founding ideals. The only hope for the country was for Trump and his administration to somehow defeat the endlessly vast Deep State and all the major institutions that are arrayed against them.

Unfortunately, at this point, the only possibility to achieve even a partial victory would be to nuke the filibuster and pass a full slate of election laws to prevent industrial scale fraud and cheating by the Democrats. (After which, they could theoretically reestablish the filibuster.)

Republicans will have to win by greater than the margin of cheat.

Exactly! And the Marxists are more determined than ever. We must meet the challenge and exceed our own expectations.

The ramifications of the Dems taking the House in 2026 are horrendous.

The Democrats are Vizzini.
Trump is Dread Pirate Roberts.
Modern Politics as we know it are Iocane Powder.

The challenge comes in the final 2 years of a lame duck administration.

The margin of cheat is whatever the Democrats and their sponsors can afford to pay for.

Democrats could actually win honest elections. Just not very many of them.

Are we doing much to get some of Trump’s Executive Orders codified into law? Maybe it’s being done, but not spoken about. We need more judges confirmed as well.

Million and millions of third world democrats are now in the USA. It’s how that Muslim got elected as New York City mayor.

It is estimated that up to 90 million people now living in the USA are foreign born, nearly 1 of every 3.5 inhabitants.

Trump has not been able to deport enough of them to make a dent. ALL large US cities are 30-50% foreign born. This is the ONLY way the rats win elections. They replaced the electorate with third world parasites who have voted themselves the treasury. A societal collapse is most definitely coming.

There is no way to get any EO's into law due to the 2/3 vote required in the Senate. There were a few that got added into the last budget reconciliation budget bill that only required a simple majority in the Senate.

The GOP needs a “Get Out the Vote” drive.

John Solomon, from “Just the News, Not the Noise” said he lives in an upper middle class county in Virginia.

During the Fall 2025 election cycle, he said that democrats knocked on his door thirteen times pitching their candidates.

The Republicans....not once!

Like Rush used to say, “The events that will determine the election have not happened yet.” Or words to that effect.

Either the filibuster should be made part of the Constitution, or it should be eliminated and all the legislation Trump needs to do a proper job should be enacted.

Drop a bill in the hoppers proposing a filibuster constitutional amendment be sent to the states with a six-month limit for ratification. Let’s see what the Democrats do.

“ALL large US cities are 30-50% foreign born. This is the ONLY way the rats win elections.”

A majority vote of Congress can make them independent city states.

We need to limit the ability of Democrats to buy votes by placing middle-class tax caps in the federal constitution.

******

Enter in bills for two constitutional amendments:

******

Levies on any residential property of less than 2799 square feet of finished living space shall be no higher than the 2019 dollar amounts for the property, or for a newer or since resold property no higher than what it would have been levied at for 2019 if it lacked owner specific tax breaks, increased by 3% per calendar year since 2019 and by any percentage increase to its finished living space.

******

Federal taxation on personal income shall be progressively capped as follows:
below 20% of the median federal full-time civilian employee compensation amount, 10%,
below 50% of the median federal full-time civilian employee compensation amount, 22%,
below the median federal full-time civilian employee compensation amount, 30%,
below the average federal full-time civilian employee compensation of the 100,000 largest recipients, 35%,
below the average federal full-time civilian employee compensation of the 10,000 largest recipients, 40%.

******

Fighting in Congress to send middle-class income and property taxation cap constitutional amendments to the states would make Congress turn deep red come 2027.

We must all band together and form a united front to keep MAGA alive. Our foes would like to divide us, to cause us to question our motives and goals—don’t let them. The Midterms are important—maybe the most important election in the history of the Republic. If they win—they will take MAGA apart piece by piece and jail or ruin Donald Trump. It will be impeachment city the last two years of Trump term in office. He will be painted as a corrupt clown and maybe jailed on some charge or another. They almost did it once.
Each one must do our best to secure a GOP victory.

I see the Tea Party Blowout psyop pattern emerging here. It worked then so they’ll try it over again.

2/3 vote? Are they trying to amend the constitution? 60 votes to end debate is not 66%.

There I go making it harder than it needs to be. I was thinking about votes to convict on impeachment.
