For decades, Boeing has been a titan in the aerospace industry, celebrated for engineering marvels that pushed the boundaries of human innovation. However, beneath this polished exterior lies a troubling history of ethical lapses, corporate malfeasance, and decisions that have led to devastating consequences…
The 737 MAX disaster remains one of the most glaring examples of Boeing’s willingness to put profit above safety. In 2018 and 2019, two catastrophic or crashes involving Lion Air Flight 610 and Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 resulted in the loss of 346 lives. Investigations revealed a disturbing picture of corporate negligence.
Central to these tragedies was the Maneuvering Characteristics Augmentation System (MCAS), a software feature designed to stabilize the aircraft. Boeing concealed critical information about MCAS from both regulators and pilots, leading to widespread confusion and insufficient training. Emails and internal documents uncovered during the investigation exposed a culture where cost-cutting and production speed took precedence over safety protocols...
The problems with Boeing did not end with the 737 MAX. Safety concerns have persisted, calling into question the company’s commitment to reform. In January 2024, an Alaska Airlines 737 MAX 9 suffered a mid-air emergency when a door plug blew out, forcing an emergency landing. The incident prompted the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to ground certain 737 MAX 9 aircraft for inspections. Subsequent investigations revealed a pattern of manufacturing defects, including missing bolts and improper installations...
One cannot overlook the human cost of Boeing’s failures. The families of the 346 victims of the 737 MAX crashes continue to seek justice, and communities worldwide remain shaken by the implications of these tragedies. Meanwhile, taxpayers are left to shoulder the burden of Boeing’s financial misconduct, paying inflated prices for essential defense contracts.

Those planes are still flying and hundreds of millions of ppl have survived the ride. I’m sorry 350 ppl died, but that’s the price we pay to have air travel.
uh huh. so if you were witness to any lapses in safety or ethics, you would just shove it under the rug ?

Though the ChiCom’s COMAC is making some strides, the commercial passenger jet market has been a duopoly of Airbus and Boeing for quite a while. Obviously BA has to pay fair damages for any past negligence, but the hard truth is that it doesn’t make a lot of sense to try to put the U.S.’s only player out of business and turn Europe’s Airbus into a monopoly. But if you don’t like Boeing or are afraid of their planes, book a flight on an Airbus. They’re not hard to find.
Hmmmm…. January 2025?
Article above more all encompassing of the context.
From November 2025: these families may never get see any recourse or justice this side of eternity. Deep State Boeing is untouchable.
“Boeing will not face a criminal conspiracy charge over two 737 Max jetliner crashes that killed 346 people after a federal judge in Texas on Thursday granted the government’s request to dismiss the case.”
Airbus is not as embedded in the American Deep State this is true. And the 737 MAX was actually Boeing’s rushed attempt to copy Airbus’ latest and greatest, leading to the poor engine placement that requires cumbersome software to offset! 🤦🏻♀️
Boeing - with its blatant control of the courts and our government through lobbying and payouts — is the reason capitalism gets a bad rap and more and more people are voting for outright socialists. So I blame them for the rise of the extreme Left.
