Those planes are still flying and hundreds of millions of ppl have survived the ride. I’m sorry 350 ppl died, but that’s the price we pay to have air travel.

Though the ChiCom’s COMAC is making some strides, the commercial passenger jet market has been a duopoly of Airbus and Boeing for quite a while. Obviously BA has to pay fair damages for any past negligence, but the hard truth is that it doesn’t make a lot of sense to try to put the U.S.’s only player out of business and turn Europe’s Airbus into a monopoly. But if you don’t like Boeing or are afraid of their planes, book a flight on an Airbus. They’re not hard to find.

A good many of us us left after
the McDoD takeover of Boeing. We could not stand putting profit over safety.
I was twenty years of experimental Flight test. I helped certify every Boeing A/C up to the 777-300 ER.
Went to Keck Observatory in Hawaii and watched as the “Bean counters” destroyed Boeing.

Let’s not even mention Boeing’s Starliner manned space capsule ... billions and billions spent on failure.

A new legacy of DEI. Not kidding. They illegally and racistly pass up white men for black anything.

Ted Colbert, disgraced CEO of Boeing space who resigned, was promoted beyond his means to perform based on being black.

When he was promoted to CEO of Boeing Global Services, his entire first 20 minutes of his introductory speech and the first page of his presentation stated, “I AM AFRICAN!!! I AM DIVERSITY!!!”, even though he was born in Boston to American parents.

He certainly was DEI, and he destroyed much of Beoing.

I hope the 787 Dreamliner is OK. My husband and are supposed to fly on it to and from Australia in February.
