Joe Biden Spied on Pro-Life Congressman Jim Jordan’s Phone for Two Years
Life News ^ | November 21, 2025 | Steven Ertelt

Posted on 11/24/2025 1:39:03 AM PST by Morgana

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, a staunch pro-life advocate known for leading investigations into the Biden administration’s aggressive imprisonment of peaceful pro-life advocates, revealed Thursday that former President Joe Biden’s Justice Department secretly subpoenaed his phone records over a 28-month period.

The subpoena, part of the Justice Department’s Arctic Frost investigation, targeted Jordan’s “call detail records” from Verizon, covering calls, text messages, voicemails and location data dating back to January 1, 2020.

The federal grand jury request was issued on April 25, 2022, and was accompanied by a nondisclosure order signed by Magistrate Judge David A. Baker that barred Verizon from informing Jordan, citing risks of “flight from prosecution, destruction of or tampering with evidence, intimidation of potential witnesses, and serious jeopardy to the investigation.”

Jordan, an Ohio Republican who has spearheaded congressional probes into the Biden administration’s targeting of peaceful pro-life Americans, called the action a blatant example of government overreach.

“They spied on President Trump. They spied on Senators. Now, we just learned, they spied on me,” Jordan said in a statement.

He described the subpoena as “ridiculous” and the “epitome of weaponization of government.”

The records obtained did not include the contents of Jordan’s calls or messages but provided extensive metadata, including “who I call, who called me, when we called each other, when the call took place, how long the call was and where I was at when I made that call — they got location as well,” Jordan said.

“All the way back to January of 2020, they gathered information … and they gathered that over a time period of 28 months. This is how ridiculous this is and why we are doing everything to get to the bottom of it,” Jordan added. “If they can do it to us, they can do it to you.”

The disclosure comes amid broader Republican accusations that the Biden-era Justice Department, under Special Counsel Jack Smith’s team, has systematically targeted GOP lawmakers probing the administration’s policies, including its improper enforcement of the FACE Act against pro-life groups.

Only problem is Joe Biden is so far gone he would probably think prison was a beach in Maryland. Got to go after who was really running the government for at least his last two years in office, and who was using the “autopen”.

Good point.

No problem, and I don’t feel picked on. I’m a big boy, and we are in the same boat. How about this: I strategically place a jaw crunching blow to some demorat politician’s face to emotionally please myself? Only problem is deciding which one gets it first. But seriously, at my age that’s not going to happen, pity.

You can make book on that more than one Government Agency has monitored Free Republic.com’s activities. I know two members that posted that the Secret Service had visited them because of posts they made.

We demand Biden face severe penalties, including fines and long prison sentences for violating federal and state privacy and anti-espionage laws. Biden should also face charges under various state laws related to surveillance, privacy, and harassment.

It’s absolutely disgusting that those in charge of providing justice and peace and protecting law abiding citizens are some of the worse law breaking offenders.

Yes they are, but Biden will still walk.

From the article:

Jordan added. “If they can do it to us, they can do it to you.”

They did do it us, and Jim Jordan/congress were made aware of that fact in 2022. He and congress didn’t care, until they learned the they did it to him and congress too.

Allegations of improper and politically motivated enforcement of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act against pro-life groups were prevalent during the Biden administration, leading to convictions, legal challenges, and calls for the Act’s repeal or reform. The current Trump administration has since limited the Act’s enforcement and issued pardons for convicted pro-life activists.

Disproportionate Prosecutions: Critics, including Republican lawmakers and advocacy groups like Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), claimed the Department of Justice (DOJ) under the Biden administration disproportionately targeted pro-life individuals for non-violent actions while largely ignoring vandalism and firebombing attacks against pregnancy resource centers and churches.

Selective Application: Data presented in congressional hearings indicated that a vast majority of FACE Act cases brought by the Biden DOJ were against anti-abortion activists at abortion clinics, with far fewer cases against those who attacked pro-life facilities.

Harsh Penalties: Pro-life advocates argued the administration pursued unnecessarily harsh penalties, sometimes adding felony “conspiracy against rights” charges to standard FACE Act violations, which carry much steeper prison sentences and fines.

“Weaponization” of the DOJ: Opponents characterized the enforcement as a “weaponization” of federal law enforcement to silence political opposition and intimidate those with views contrary to the administration’s stance on abortion.
Legal and Political Responses

Congressional Action: Republican lawmakers, including Sen. Mike Lee and Rep. Chip Roy, introduced legislation to repeal the FACE Act, arguing it is unconstitutional and has been abused for political purposes.

Lawsuits: Individual activists prosecuted under the Act, such as Mark Houck, filed lawsuits against the DOJ for what they claimed were unjust and politically motivated arrests.
House Judiciary Hearings: The House Judiciary Committee held hearings to investigate the alleged bias in the DOJ’s enforcement of the Act, featuring testimony from convicted activists and legal experts.

Recent Developments (Trump Administration)
Effective January 24, 2025, the new leadership at the Department of Justice under President Trump ordered prosecutors to cease new abortion-related FACE Act actions except in “extraordinary circumstances” involving death or serious property damage.

The Trump administration:
Dismissed three pending civil FACE Act cases.
Pardoned 23 individuals convicted of FACE Act violations under Biden.

I’m not sure it matters anyway. His brain is so rattled, if he were sent to prison he might think he’s on the beach at Rehoboth. How do you punish a person who is too far gone to know he/she is being punished? Besides, who was really running the government? I wouldn’t doubt it was his crooked wife, son, and brother.

Do people ever call Congress as a result of these “call Congress” posts?

If they do, is it effective?

I’ve done it a couple times, and always felt they were laughing at me. It reminded me of an SNL skit. I think it was Weekend Update when Jane Curtin gave the news and Chevy Chase was making faces while she talked. I was Jane Curtin.

My nephew was a staffer in DC for a congressional member. He claimed that calls to their district offices were far more effective than those to DC.

Of course we are. The derpstate is alive and well. You'll notice that some new glowies joined this summer and early fall.

The swamp isn't drained. The sludge and slime just moved farther underground.
