You can only reduce so far.
My two grocery shopping choices are a Super Walmart and a Piggly Wiggly. I use The Pig more than Walmart. We also have a Dollar Tree which I use for a few household things. For some reason I’m locked out of my Walmart account on-line so can no longer order groceries for pick up.
No one in ‘Help’ seems to be able to help. Oh, well. I’ll live.
Once the competition is eliminated, Walmart will be forced to raise prices to pay for the money they spent eliminating the competition.
Walmart does seem to have some overall cheaper prices, but some of it is still overpriced in my opinion. I shop there all the time. Some of the problem is, I think, that certain things were way overpriced when Biden was president and now even though there is supposedly lower inflation certain overpriced products are not cheaper, but just don’t gain in price as quick as they might have. They are still priced too high due to past inflation.
Is better to go to CostCo. Unlike Walmart, CCo increases local businesses, even competitors. WM’s plan from the beginning has been to close down all local business.
Check the stats, the companies are fundamentally different.
