Existing tenants to make their own arrangements, with 10% of the auction proceeds to the existing tenants based on their timely rent payments in 2023, 2024 and the first eight months of 2025 and 5% of the auction proceeds based on occupancy during that timeframe so they have money to find a new place.
Housing provision is a local and state issue, not a federal issue.

Right. When NYC crashes, all eyes will turn to the US Congress for a bailout.
I want to say that bailout won’t happen. But deals will be made. Trump gets this. In return, NYC gets that.
And if the GOP should lose the White House in 2028… well, anything goes.
