The Babylon Bee has come under fire for a post, that was quickly deleted on X, which appeared to suggest violence against commentator Megyn Kelly. This comes after Kelly said that Mark Levin should debate Tucker Carlson at Turning Point USA's AmFest in December.
The post stated, "Megyn Kelly Gets Rid Of Old Pager Just To Be Safe," and included a photo of Kelly alongside a pager. In the fall of 2024, thousands of pagers exploded in an Israeli operation targeting the terror group Hezbollah. Thousands were injured and at least 30 were killed in the attack, which came during the Israel-Hamas war.
The since-deleted post was widely criticized on social media, with Kelly writing "WTF," tagging Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon.
Human Events Daily host Jack Posobiec wrote, "Only 2 months ago, the leading voice of conservatism for young people was murdered in an act of blatant political violence. Trump himself was nearly assassinated last year. Comments about political violence against Megyn Kelly or anyone else are insane at a time like this."
Human Events opinion editor Kenny Cody wrote, "The Babylon Bee is a tool used to divide conservatives. Jokes are cool, but the attempt to allude to violence against Megyn Kelly because they hate Tucker Carlson so bad is simply abhorrent after what happened to Charlie. Shame on Seth Dillon and the rest."

Initially came across it on X, but now Daily Beast and other outlets have picked it up.
Babylon Bee has gotten so lazy. They just recycle the same half dozen jokes, plugging in different names to o fit current news. Even this one is a copy paste with Kelly’s name added.
Under fire from who? People who don't have a live.
The truth if Kelly and others have been bullied using tactics that left has constantly used and that is unacceptable.
They got in trouble for reminding the world that Israel is one of the most assassination happy nations on earth and has been since its founding.
That Babylon Bee post was edgy, and maybe in bad taste. But in no way did it suggest violence.
My conclusion from all this: Megyn Kelly can’t take joke.
Lighten up, Francis. If you don’t want to see this sort of thing, don’t get a job in the public eye. Go be a plumber or a hairdresser.
Oops. I mean Megyn, not Francis there.
Seth Dillon is part of a network of shady Evangelical churches that have been hovering around TPUSA.
Its so sad when portions of the right use the same cheesy victimhood performance, anti-humor / anti-free speech tactics of the Left.
It was the Israelis that couldn’t take the joke. The Bee was reminding the world of their prowess at assassinations and their proclivity for doing it to anyone who is a problem.
“Human Events opinion editor Kenny Cody wrote, “The Babylon Bee is a tool used to divide conservatives.”
That’s total nonsense!
To be fair, Kelly did not laugh off the Bee’s post, or just ignore it.
She responded with a “WTF”.
Poor thing can’t take a joke, as I noted earlier.
But that wasn’t what got to be in trouble or why they removed it. That’s a sideshow. The main thing is that he was calling the Israeli assassins. And then the Charlie Kirk era, that hits a little too close to home for their sensibilities. He did not remove it because Megan Kelly got upset.

oh well, they can’t be perfect 100% of the time-
“ Even this one is a copy paste with Kelly’s name added.”
Who was the joke against before?
