When did 'liberty and justice for all' become 'woke'?
Laramie Boomerang ^ | 11/12/25 | Rodger McDaniel

Posted on 11/13/2025 6:38:10 AM PST by DallasBiff

The U.S. Department of Education has contracted with far-right organizations Turning Point USA and the Heritage Foundation to develop a “patriotic” curriculum, perpetuating Stephen Miller’s guttural threat that “Children will be taught to love America. Children will be taught to be patriots.”

Miller’s words echoed Joseph Goebbels’ commitment to indoctrinate children in 1930s Germany.

On Veterans Day, we recall how 1950s American kindergartners learned to love our country. We stood proudly facing the flag with hands over our hearts, pledging “allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic, for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

Thank you very much and God bless you.

Mr. McDaniel, pushing transgenderism on children, is not exactly "Justice".

He would call me a nazi.

"The U.S. Department of Education has contracted with far-right organizations Turning Point USA and the Heritage Foundation to develop a “patriotic” curriculum"

This must mean that the Trump Administration fully intends on breaking its campaign promise to abolish the Department of Education.

Trump signed an order that the Education Secretary needs to gradually pair down the department as much as possible. Apparently, an act of Congress is needed to completely eliminate it, which will of course be filibustered and stopped by the Dems.

At any rate, it’s interesting to see distorted left-wing propaganda occasionally like this article. Imagine a leftist pretending that the left actually wants liberty and justice for all instead of their normal demand of radical double standards, unequal justice, and discriminatory treatment based on different identity categories.

The administration could simply ask Congress to work on passing an ‘abolish’ bill. They are not even asking. Asking this question is the fulfillment of the campaign promise.

A national curriculum is blatantly unconstitutional.

The rest of the article didn’t necessarily fit with the headline, I saw it just as a walk down memory lane.

The author has corrupted the word “justice” to mean social justice. That’s the woke part.

Here is Charlie Kirk's position, his exact words:

This is the social compact breaking down. We need urgency to restore it:

1 - Mass deportations

2 - Stop the H-1B scam

3 - Dramatically reduce LEGAL Immigration

4 - End chain migration and the Visa Lottery

5 - Build 10 million homes for Americans

6 - Crush the College Cartel

I'm sure Roger McDaniel called him a Nazi and White Supremacist for his "far right-wing" views.

Long Live Charlie Kirk!

The problem lies in progressives trying to alter the plain and accepted meaning of English words. I was listening to the most progressive radio from San Francisco (KPFA) one day. The moon battery is strong there and it can be quite entertaining. Anyway, the speaker spoke about justice and described it as “To make right that which is wrong.” And all this time I had been laboring under the illusion that justice meant “unbiased application of law.”
