On the TV cop shows the actresses in the car chases always look a lot better than she does.
Sidelight: In the movie The Getaway, former race car driver Steve McQueen had to teach his soon to be wife Ali McGraw to drive in the chase scenes. She had no license and had never learned to drive.
Uma Thurman actually drove in the Pulp Fiction chase sequence and seriously injured her neck and back along with a head injury. Quentin Tarantino refused to allow the film files for her lawsuit, causing rancor which finally was resolved years later. Thurman has permanent physical problems from the injuries. Tarantino didn't want a stunt driver and pressured Thurman to do the dangerous crash scene.
What I heard from the AA women who made a right turn in front of me from the second lane on PCH in Long Beach, and about ran my '79 TA into a power pole.
Driving with her window down messed up her hair, just going in for some spray to hold it.
