I actually liked the movie.

Berkeley’s acting was terrible, but the rest of the cast were professionals that did just fine.

Plot was fine. Scenes were fine. Lots of eye candy in a story where it wasn’t actually gratuitious, beyond the entire theme of the moving being gratuitous nudity stripping in Las Vegs.

Hollywood can’t make a good movie today. If Showgirls came out today, it would probably not be panned the way it was back when Hollywood was making better films overall.

I guess I am just dumb. I liked “Showgirls”. I like “Indian Jones Crystal Skull”. Whatever. I just like what I like.

leave it to degenerate hollywood to take a girl from a mostly wholesome high school show and steal her innocence by putting her in a NC-17 film, thus compromising the innocence of those who watched saved by the bell growing up and turning her into a sex fiend in her next role. Satanic Hollywood lives for destroying innocence, and even though it was her choice to do this, hollywood sickos took great joy in turning something wholesome into something sick and trashy and poisoning the minds of millions who watched it. These people are sick af and they’re really proud of it. They take great pleasure in mocking normal Godly wholesome values.

It IS a bad movie. But in a campy, over-the-top basis.

My favorite scene was when she absolutely beat the snot out of the guy who raped her friend.

It CAN be a legit guilty pleasure if you can look past the nonstop pornographic images.
