There’s been a lot of conversation about Tucker Carlson and Nick Fuentes lately, but everyone should spare a thought for Candace Owens.
On her eponymous podcast, Candace, the crackpot influencer has been conducting an “investigation” into what happened to Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University that is another symptom of how far off the rails a segment of the right-wing media ecosystem has gone.
(Owens is too foolish even for Fuentes, who says she defines “low-IQ antisemitism,” although Carlson has her on his podcast for friendly interviews.)
The Owens probe is about as serious and likely to bear fruit as O. J.’s attempt to find the real killer of Nicole Simpson.
According to Owens, who once worked with Kirk at Turning Point USA, what obviously didn’t happen is that Tyler Robinson shot Kirk in the neck with a rifle at relatively close range from the roof of a building with a clear line of sight to Kirk after fulminating about the activist and podcaster being a hater.

Charlie Kirk wasn’t killed with a 30-06... that universe doesn’t exist.
I used to like her, but when she started the primping & gushing over her looks, etc., it turned me away. It was the first sign that the attention she was generating was going to her head and going to cause her to become irrelevant. Now she’s driven by click bait & honestly, maybe she’d come to her senses if we all quit listening to her!
Lowery is correct. Candace Owens is a nut job, but I think that there is some underlying reason for some of her behavior since Charlie Kirk was murdered. I personally think that she was embarrassed, and became very resentful, when she and Charlie Kirk had their split. Publicly, she has maintained that they were still very close, but the reality is that Charlie Kirk almost certainly knew that she was a nut, and did not want to be closely associated with her. He was probably polite to her just because that’s the kind of person he was. Now that he is gone, I think she wants access to and control over TPUSA and its large number of followers. She thinks, because she’s a nut job, that digging to find the “real assassin“ will endear her to TPUSA followers and put her at the top of that pyramid. The good thing is that I believe that 90% of the people out there know that she is an absolute loon, and will thus not succeed. Besides, people are going to be loyal to Erica Kirk, who has shown immense courage by stepping up almost immediately after her husband was murdered.
I believe that is Candace's problem. She made a "brand" for herself by shooting from the hip (verbally speaking). So she wound up shouting too many times before thinking and it's gotten her into trouble. Yet she's too proud to admit it, so she has to double down on the cray-cray that she shouted.

Notice how all of those who were once anti-Trumpers (like NR Levin & Shapiro) are the same ones today who are attacking Candace and Tucker. Hmm...
+1. Name calling is not a valid argument. I just heard Mark Levin ‘refused’ to debate Tucker at a TPUSA event. Why? Scared? WWCD? Charlie wasn’t scared to debate anyone.
Levin has become totally unhinged recently and is having the opposite effect on people than what he thinks. Turning Point wanted to platform a debate between him and Tucker but Levin chickened out because he knows he would lose the debate.
I’m with you guys. It’s not a popular viewpoint around here, but I’m troubled by some of the details of this case... the lack of an exit wound from a 30-06 being No. 1. The alleged text-exchange between Tyler and Lance also struck me as phony as hell. I don’t have the answers, but I have no problem with Candace questioning the narrative.

There’s so many anomalies with the official story that nobody who’s been following it believes the official version.
NR is just sad that Tucker gets orders of magnitude more play than they do.
The whole CK narrative is phony. It stinks to high heaven. Nothing is believable about the “official” story.
So at an event with 1000s of college kids and CK, there was no ambulance? And nobody carrying CK had blood on their perfectly white shoes?
Did you see the fake plastic hands in the coffin? EK is an actress. She’s as phony as can be. Blotting no tears in every interview.
