Contestants at the 2025 Miss Universe Pageant, which is being held in Thailand, staged a mass walkout of the event after an event official publicly berated Miss Mexico and called her “dumb”. Miss Mexico remained defiant after the incident, saying, “No one can shut our voice and no one will do that to me”.

In fairness, she's in a profession where her other assets are more important than her being a brain surgeon.
“Shut our voice”? Kind of a dumb way to put it.
That Thai man had a most imperial, and condescending attitude. The girls were not gonna deal with that w/o throwing that arrogance right back at him.
The pageants may seem frivolous, but it takes training and preparation for them to earn their way to this level.
You don’t talk to adults that way and assume they will still have respect for you.
I just watched the video- Miss Universe Palestine looked kind of hot and she wasn’t wearing a suicide vest...

Miss Uinverse and other parents are owned by Thai JKN Global Group.
The Thai “woman” has 53% of the shares.
The next owner has about 4%. I don’t see any Mexicans listed.
Why doesn’t Ms Bahamas win? Maybe her ability to open a coconut with her teeth intimidates the judges.

Back when Lee Majors was a pageant judge someone asked him what WAS the criteria on which he judged. He replied “T and A”
After a short pause he laughed and added “Talent and ability.”
The blonde who led the walkout (Denmark?) is a stunner.
