Carville: Democrats Will Win In 2028, Congress Will Increase Supreme Court Justices From 9 to 13

Democratic strategist James Carville predicted on his "Politics War Room" podcast that Democrats will win the 2028 presidential election and move to expand the Supreme Court.

CARVILLE: So I want to talk to Chief Justice Roberts, Justice Alito, Justice Barrett, Justice Kavanaugh, Justice Gorsuch. I might be forgetting one. I'm going to tell you what's going to happen.

A Democrat is going to be elected in 2028. You know that, I know that. It's going to be a Democratic House.

It's going to be a Democratic Senate. The Democratic president is going to announce a special transition advisory committee on the reform of the Supreme Court that we could have our third branch of government has lost the faith and trust of the American people. And his president is going to do everything in the law.

He's going to point a blue ribbon, maybe Judge Ludick and the dean of the, you know, just the usual fucking suspects. All right. And they're going to recommend that the number of Supreme Court justices go from nine to 13.

That's going to happen, people. That's going to happen to you. They're going to win.

Republicans should pack the court full of ultra-right-wing justices who all find that any further packing is unconstitutional.

Trump should threaten to increase SCOTUS to 13 seats NOW so we can get both sides to agree on 9 seats and make it the law.

A Democrat is going to be elected in 2028. You know that, I know that.

He said the same thing about Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris.

Carville lists 3 reasons why he thinks Harris will win

Veteran political strategist James Carville reiterated his election prediction Wednesday, outlining three reasons why he believes Vice President Harris will be victorious over former President Trump next month.
Carville, the architect of former President Clinton’s successful 1992 campaign, pointed to the GOP’s losing record since 2018, Harris’s fundraising advantage over Trump and the will of the American people to reject the former president once again.
“The biggest reason Mr. Trump will lose is that the whole Republican Party has been on a losing streak since Mr. Trump took it over,” he wrote in an essay published Wednesday by The New York Times.
“See 2018: the largest House landslide for Democrats in a midterm election since Watergate. See 2020: He was decisively bucked from the White House by Joe Biden. See 2022: an embarrassment of a midterm for Republicans off the heels of Dobbs,” Carville wrote.
The strategist pointed to Democrats’ success in special elections and argued that Trump had “not learned from his electoral losses nor done the necessary work to assemble a broad electoral coalition in 2024.”
He contrasted that with Harris’s coalition — which encompasses progressive politicians such as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and former GOP Reps. Liz Cheney (Wyo.) and Adam Kinzinger (Ill.).
“This is shaping out to be a record-turnout election — and if the bigger coalition turns out with equal enthusiasm, it will be lights out for Mr. Trump,” he wrote.
Carville had also doubled down on his prediction Monday during an appearance on CNN, saying “I think that Harris is going to win.”
“Let me just say that out front. I’m doubling down on that,” he added, but cautioned that, “I could be wrong.”
The veteran Democratic adviser also noted that the Harris’s campaign’s fundraising advantage will likely play a huge part in turning out swing-state voters, particularly suburban women. The Democratic nominee’s campaign raised almost $360 million in September and more than $1 billion since joining the White House race in late July — after President Biden stepped aside.
“All this cash not only effectively offsets the flow of money funneling in for Mr. Trump from some tech billionaires, but it has also given Ms. Harris the resources she needs to persuade swing voters with ads and to organize on the ground,” Carville wrote in the essay, while also praising the vice president’s field operation.
With the election less than two weeks away, Carville said his final reason is “100 percent emotional,” adding that the U.S. is not as politically divided as it is often portrayed.
“A vast majority of Americans are rational, reasonable people of good will,” he wrote. “I refuse to believe that the same country that has time and again overcome its mistakes to bend its future toward justice will make the same mistake twice.”
“America overcame Mr. Trump in 2020. I know that we know we are better than this,” Carville added.

“I don’t think he is lying about their evil plans. I hope he is wrong again, but we need to do more than hope. We need to get great candidates and we need to get the voters out. We need to make sure Republican voters understand the dangers we face if we are not motivated to win.”

I fully agree. The Supreme Court is where the action is gonna be. The Dems know this and they will try to pack the Court. They very much dislike being on the losing end of these Court opinions and will want to change it in the worst way.

The GOP are fools for not taking full advantage of their position right now.

When has that ever stopped the GOP from seeking their coveted minority position?

The Democrats have raised the topic. They say it’s a good idea.

We own the House, Senate and the White House. Let’s agree with the Democrats.

Let’s pack the Supreme Court right now. 2025. Why wait?

Once again, revealing that Democrats are the real threat to democracy. It is like an immutable law of the universe, whatever Democrats accuse others of doing is exactly what they are doing.

Turley is right. The Republicans had better face the danger we are facing and deal with it.

The Dems/Communists will utterly destroy us if they are able to do it.

This is on that dam Netanyahu. Dems swept the 2025 races,
but Trump was in the blankety blank Mideast, instead of working for Republicans.

Trump found out the hard way....”peace in bomb-happy Israel” is not a winning US issue.

Dem-loving Jews are considered too few in number for polling; because they make up a small percentage of the US population. Familiar national polls use extraordinary methods to ensure Jewish representation. This makes it appear Jews are numerous when Congressional funding issues loom.

Here is how polling on the Jewish population works:

Overall Population Size: The total U.S. Jewish population is insignificant .......a small fraction of the overall U.S. population.......it is too small a number to study with proper methodology.

Specialized Polling: Major research organizations, such as the American Jewish Population Project at Brandeis University, conduct targeted surveys specifically to analyze Jewish Americans’ views and demographics.

Methodology: To get statistically significant results for a smaller demographic like Jews, pollsters use techniques like:

Oversampling: Including using a larger number of Jewish individuals in a survey sample than would occur by pure random chance, and then weighting the results back to their correct proportion in the overall population for national estimates.

Targeted Sampling: Using commercial lists or focusing on geographic areas (such as specific counties in New York, Florida, or Pennsylvania) where large Jewish populations reside to reach potential respondents.

Political Significance: The Jewish vote is considered insignificant in U.S. politics, particularly in swing states or districts with unseemly high Jewish populations, but Jews high voter registration and turnout rates and voting patterns leaning Democratic, have nuances across different Jewish subgroups, making their vote an area of analysis for funding and political strategies.

While they are a tiny minority group, the Jewish population is routinely polled using extraordinary statistical methods to get their opinions and Dem-loving voting behavior.
