Oops! That’s oven, not over.
The activation temperature of gunpowder is around 400 - 450 degrees F. If you’re pre-heating the oven for a turkey you should be fine. Self-cleaning the oven the you’ll soon need to do some remodeling of your kitchen.
If that happens, you’re an idiot.
Gigantic cook-off...
Like those jap carriers used to do after a bomb strike that penetrated to the loading/refueling deck...
Why would anyone do that?
I could tell you five ways to destroy your house but it’ll cost you 10 grand. It’d be like an accident. ;-)
Jeez what are you really doing? ;-) You actually posted this? Guns & ammo in the oven? GOOD IDEA.
What you want to do is get everything in there turn it on to BROIL open the door a little bit and then just watch. 10 -15 minutes max. Toodles.
Maybe it’s safer to take all ammo and firearms out for a boat ride?
Sorry. You’re no Newbie. Weird post.
I didn’t click on the link. Just seemed like a question like if I pull the link on a grenade and let go, how long do I have to put my fingers in my ears. About six seconds. ;-)
Jeez. This is about as dumb as setting your farts on fire.
I remember that episode… very funny. Loved that show. It’s a shame Grant Imohara died; 50 is way too young. Jesse Combs died to, in a racing accident.
But back to the question of WHY anyone would store ammo and guns in an oven…
Bookies will tell you to take the over.
>> what happens
going with… it’s over
Never store an oven and under shotgun in the over!
