The menu is her appetizer.
I had to laugh out loud when I saw her picture.
I do not want to be mean spirited about people who are overweight. But I guess it made me laugh, because it doesn’t look like she’s missed too many meals.
She physically represents the sorts of foods she has been getting with her snap benefits - not the most healthy foods.
Her body weight is not a testament to how healthy her snap benefits could be, if she exercised better judgement in using those benefits.
Poor, poor ghettopotamus...
This is not being mean spirited. It's simply pointing out how she has misspent her food stamps. She should take this as an opportunity to lose a few pounds...like maybe 50-60lbs.

I’m sorry for your circumstances. Are there no food banks in your area that you can go to? Local churches? There’s no shame in accepting charity if you really need it.
You completely missed the point. I have plenty. It doesn’t take much. My point was people waste food and resources and I am damn tired of paying for it.

Is it really that difficult to find a food stamp recipient suffering from Anorexia? The people who become reporters must have to attend a four-year college to become that stupid.
I had a hospital patient once (happened to be black) who weighed close to 400 lbs. She was a short woman, and filled up the bed from side to side. The doctor had prescribed a 1500 calorie diet, and her family complained that she was crying because she was hungry. She was moved to another unit shortly thereafter. I felt sorry for her, because fat people get hungry, too, but obviously the calorie reduction was in her best interest. People don’t always do what’s in their best interests; I know I don’t.
