Govt has screwed up the health care industry. The best plan is to get the government out of the health business. Let the market dictate.

That easy bromide does not work because properly functioning free markets do best when public and private regulators set quality and fairness standards. Courts are also needed to enforce obligations. Health care providers and insurers thus require regulation and ready judicial remedy in order to assure both quality and a proper level of service.

Unfortunately, the politically powerful health care insurance industry enjoys limited federal oversight and little in the way of judicial check. Health care insurers today thus often short patients and doctors through contract terms and bureaucratic evasions and manipulations that regulators and courts are powerless to remedy. Get screwed by a health care insurer and you can do little about it except to ask them to reconsider.

As it is, health insurance execs are now so unpopular that when one is gunned down on the street, his killer becomes for many a folk hero of sorts. There is one kind of government intervention that the health insurance industry carves: protect us against our angry customers and the public at large.

Yes, but we can’t pretend this issue doesn’t exist. Democrats use the fear of medical access loss the same way they used open borders. It’s an issue they use to help themselves NOT citizen.

It’s time to stop pretending that their ‘care’ isn’t one more scam used against poor and working class citizens. We need to put out a version based on a capitalist systems with incentives supporting how a careful family would make medical decisions. It’s would be cheaper, not cause dependency and stop the cheap use human misery to line the pocket of liberal ‘elites’....
