As AI progresses, a growing number of workers face unemployment or precarious employment, fueling political pressure for Universal Basic Income (UBI)—typically understood as unconditional payments aiming to guarantee a basic standard of living.
However, behind this policy response lies a fundamental truth: income provided by UBI is redistributed wealth, funded predominantly by taxing others. Taken to its fullest extent, this scenario envisions UBI becoming the total income for many individuals, fundamentally transforming the economy’s reliance from earned wages toward government transfers.
Traditional UBI proponents emphasize unconditional, unrestricted payments that uphold dignity and autonomy by letting recipients decide how to allocate funds. Yet, as more recipients rely entirely on UBI, governments develop incentives to condition or control spending to ensure funds are used “appropriately” on essentials like food, housing, or healthcare. This urge shifts UBI away from unconditional cash to a conditional benefit—introducing a powerful mechanism for centralized control.
This shift often involves digital platforms and payment channels that tie disbursement to monitored transactions. Here lies the connection to Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs). CBDCs are digital currencies issued by central banks with features that allow:
Real-time monitoring of every transaction, Restriction of spending categories, and Immediate freezing or withdrawal of funds on policy breaches. Together, conditional UBI schemes and CBDCs form comprehensive financial surveillance infrastructures, akin to models already tested worldwide. This emerging economic governance framework could severely limit financial autonomy, erode privacy, and enable government-imposed behavioral controls dictating permissible expenditures.

Agree completely, they (the WEF sycophants) intend to use AI to redistribute goods and services and wealth in such a way where all previous surveillance state Communist regimes have failed at.
When they implement a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) with mandatory digital ID and tokenize everything for all buying and selling globally and then add in the ‘vaccine’ DNA alteration requirements and use the equivalent of Social Credit scores (they will call it something else) this will in effect make us all in agreement with the likes of that demonic Barack Obama and all those just like him.
This will be the Mark of the Beast and those receiving it all being given over to Satan and to his kingdom for their peace and security. Which they will never have. It is a lie.
The good news that everyone should know is that Satan only gets this evil authority over the entire Earth for exactly 42 months, 1260 days or three and one-half years and then God shuts it down permanently with the return of Jesus bodily to this Earth to rule and reign forever.
It’s not something I really pay a lot of attention to, but UBI schemes seem to involve relatively small amounts of money. Like, $1000 a month or something like that. Hey, if anyone wants to hand me an extra $1000 a month, I would take it. But it won’t pay my mortgage. It won’t pay my bills. It won’t pay for anybody’s education.
I think the big fear is that AI and automation may make a large number of people pretty much unemployment. If you no longer have any way to contribute your labor to the national economy, then you are out of luck and should just sit at home and try to stay out of trouble. No wages for you. But don’t worry — here is a whopping $1000 a month so you will survive.
I just don’t see this as any sort of solution to anything.
And my little discourse says “$1000 a month” — I have no idea what UBI scheme people are really thinking of, but it’s not $10,000 a month, and if it were we would be at Zimbabwe levels of inflation.
As I understand it...you will “earn” tokens to use to buy groceries, goods, etc. HOW will you earn them? You will have to devise ways to monetize yourself by doing good in your community, or some such thing. A lot of things will be free (so they say), like energy. THAT is what I have heard from my hub who is following major players/promoters online.
It’s going to be a basic part of Society and I think it won’t be very long

What a shame! That hemlock bark was used to ma=ke tannic acid, so that the hides of bulls and horses could be used to make all the conformable harnesses and saddles used for hauling goods and rapid transportation--even to mobilize troops and artillery for war! (Not to mention shoes and belts and whiplashes . . . )
And it only took about twenty or thirty years to completely wipe out a whole industry, the one that gave rise even to music such as "The Camptown Races, Doo Dah" and other entertaining pursuits like horse racing.
It was the automation of travel and power from oil instead of grass and trees for horses and tack that did it. Pretty much over for cowboys and farmers as well.
