Believe or not, there exists a rather poorly financed Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation, devoted to documenting evils of Communism. Not very surprisingly, they do not get too much money, mostly from the real victims.

In my mind they should get like 100x more money than BLM ACLU or SPLC. They are actually nonpolitical, some Democrats (Lantos) were members. So "freedom loving" "immigrant concerned" Soros, antifa and ACLU should chip in, but they do not!
I am wondering, when will NYC qualify for membership? When will the refugees from Mamdani terror be able to claim a seat at the table?

My great grandparents fled communism in 1945 with the shirts on their backs leaving behind factories and a beautiful home. My dad and grandfather tried to get compensation in the 60s, but got nowhere.
So I’m sympathetic to the plight of anybody in similar situation.
Good point about how the ultra-wealthy commies should fund the victims of their ideology.
Motion to create a Victims of Woke Liberal Democrat Agenda’s/Policies Foundation. All in favor?
After the New York Stock Exchange leaves, most likely to Dallas.
In fiscal year 2024, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum received approximately $72.1 million from the federal government ... This funding has been a consistent source of support since the museum's establishment in 1993.
There are three things that should be banned and made illegal in the U.S.A - Communism, Islam, and politicians not speaking English.
The US government provides tax dollars——federal funding for the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, which is labeled a “federal educational institution” in order to receive tax dollars. In FY 2024, the museum’s federal funding was allocated through specific Congressional budgets and federal grants.
The museum’s status-——designated a “federal institution”———with its permanent location guaranteed by federal support means it can receive “public money” in the form of US tax dollars. The museum’s FY 2024 President’s Budget requested $67 million in federal tax dollars. In FY 2024, the museum’s total federal spending was $72.1 million, which was in addition to mega-billion tax dollars go to support Jewish causes.
The USHMM is designated an “independent establishment of the US government” and receives a direct congressional appropriation if tax dollars. These federal funds primarily cover the costs of keeping the building open and finances safety measures, including maintenance, security, and some educational outreach initiatives.
For the 2023 fiscal year, the U.S. Departments of the Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act allocated approximately $67 million for the museum’s expenses.
Sign me up for that!
Wrong name! Watch for the
The Chuckie Shumer/Hakeem Jeffries New York Futures “investment” fund.
The Victims of Communism memorial Foundation operates on a lot tighter budget.
About $6 mil yearly expenses, income mostly from donations, but they get like $1 mil government subsidy.
Pretty pitiful, if you remember that communism killed 100 mil of people!
