“”Married for 83 years.””
WOW!!!! That is something to celebrate.. 70+ years is getting up there and most don’t make it..but 83???

I delivered the Detroit Free Press in Junior High. I would look at articles as I folded them. There was an article of a couple who were married for 84 years in an edition. Probably about 1964 or 1965. 83 years is a tremendous mile stone.
That’s amazing! Wonderful heartwarming story, thank you for sharing it.
My parents have been married for 69 years. 70th anniversary will be May 2026. Dad is 92 and Mom is 88. Bought their house in 1958 for $12,000 and still live in the same house that they paid off around 1972. Current Zillow estimate is $446,000.
They better layoff the beers. It might shorten their life. /s
Getting married at 43, I really hope I dont make it to 83 years. Who wants to be 126 years old?
Awesome and very rare. Wife and I are on 52 years of marriage at age 70. Got married 4 months after HS graduation.
A toast to the lovebirds!
