Shocking video captured the moment a massive fight broke out between customers at a Texas Bass Pro Shop that was allegedly sparked over a restroom argument.

The fists began flying at the outdoor superstore’s grand opening weekend in Odessa around 3 p.m. Saturday, when two men waiting in line for the restroom got into a verbal altercation that quickly turned physical and spread to multiple rowdy customers joining in on the violence, Fox 4 News reported.

Investigators found that the confrontation ignited after a man waiting in line with his wife and child became agitated after another individual took too long in the bathroom.

Take your fight to the nearest KFC, not the bass pro shop.

My wife is a stage IV colorectal cancer survivor.

She definitely spends more than the normal amount of time in the bathroom.

I hope this doesn’t happen to her!

when in college went down to Odessa for the big football game - Odessa Permian v Midland Lee. Went to the disco after the game (it was the 70s) couple of guys got into a fight, security took them outside, 5 minutes later there were about 20 people involved. It was something to watch, as the cops that had been called did, they watched to be sure no knives or guns but let the fracas take its course, then told everyone to go home.

From the state that brought us two Bushes and one LBJ? Not overly surprising.

I know EXACTLY what you mean. Friend of mine, also in the oilfield at the time, said to me that going to HEB over in Midland was like going to a candy store for women. Midland definitely had the money.

Mainly, yes. Wireline, fracking, small legacy general work over and hot oil assets.

Had a proper drilling company but sold the rigs and crews during a boom to Patterson. Could have retired at 35, but was going crazy after a few months so took over my FILaw’s company in exchange for stock.

It’s now worth more than what I got out of drillco, lol.

Never borrow money, buy right, conserve cash, never over expand and you get wealthy simply by doing a good job.

I’ve spent a little time in Hobbs and Midland but I have mostly worked East Texas/Gulf Coast and Fort Worth Basin.

Here we are, fighting each other over a freaking bathroom in a Bass Pro Shop while the Muslims, jihadis, liberals & anarchists band together to take over cities and states. This won’t end well

18 months in Midland-Odessa and Iraan, TX. The longest 18 months of my life. Not sorry to see Midland-Odessa in my rear view mirror.

Midland is nice now. Very white collar, upscale. Lots to do.

Odessa is, well, pretty much summed up by this fight.

I drove though there in 2001. My first thought was...”We fought Mexico for THIS?”

The fact that crap land sits on the largest recoverable oilfield in the world is a major attraction.

You were also probably going down I-20, which follows the transcontinental railroad laid down on the flattest, most barren, arid, tract of land to make it easier to build (no brush, no Buffalo grass).

As an aside, Mexico insisted west Texas get taken and actually wanted 500 miles south of the existing border to be part of Texas, too.

Reason being the Comanches and Apaches were the real rulers of the land and part of the trade was Texas would put a lid on the raids from its territory. Mexico wanted as large a barrier as possible. Texas stopped at El Paso only by negotiation. Texas wanted to stop much farther north.

And it was agreed to only because someone had a pipe dream of an intercontinental railroad.

The problem with Pecos are the people.

The other towns have plenty of good people.

Pecos is full of drug dealers and temporary workers.
