I’m not so sure. I was watching one of the news channels a few months ago. The House adjourned and Pelosi, Hoyer, and Clymer came out more or less together. The reporter flagged them (not Hakeem Jeffries) down.
So I am thinking that although they stepped down as leaders they were still pulling the strings.
I think she got out because she has time to either bring Weiner into her coven (double entendre! and one more for Dirty Paul!), or put her daughter up to it; because the communist Chakrabarti (AOC's very first campaign manager) had a chance in the primary.

More to the point, those ballots were pre-dated and post-election mailed, by Kalifornians who are same-day voting and dropping in a mail-in ballot on the way out of the precinct.

It is my recollection that the USPS now photographs every piece of mail, so it's time for a forensic audit -- an electoral colonoscopy -- of this upcoming Kalifornia election.
When that audit proves fraudulent ballots on a massive scale, simply refuse to seat the Kalifornia delegation.
Trump must also use the fraud to park an extreme special prosecutor in Sacramento with yuge bigly wide-ranging scope of powers to investigate every single person involved, AND ANY OTHER KALIFORNICATION THAT COMES ALONG.
