The business interests that control our politicians want darkness at 8am or later in the morning instead.

So they demand clocks forward 12 months out of the year instead of the current eight months.

Where does Seth Dillon get his money from?

The earth did not slow down. In fact, physically, nothing changed.

It’s all in your mind. ha ha.

I’m in Arizona. This is a problem we don’t have.

I contend that they have it backwards.

If you’re going to do “daylight savings time”, it should be in the winter months. So that at least you can come home in daylight.

As it is now, many drive to work in the dark and come home at dark. No useful daylight hours in your average day. Depressing.

While in the summer, you’re putting children to bed when it’s still daylight! Makes no sense to me.

Why make daylight savings permanent? It’s standard time that should be permanent. Duh!

I live smack in the middle of Eastern US time zone, 75°W.
That means in a sane world, the Sun should be at its highest point relative to me - crossing longitude 75° at noon, all year ‘round.

But because of stupid DST, the Sun doesn’t pass over my longitude until 1PM during the summer.

If people have a problem with how light or dark it is relative to their work or sleep schedule, they should take it up with their employers, not impose their preferences on the rest of us by fiddling with the official time.

Isn’t it amazing that when a majority of the American people would really like to see us on one time for the entire year without the silliness of changing the clocks twice the Congress cannot even pass this simple resolution? It is even worse that it has been on the table for several years without action.

It is a pathetic commentary on how dysfunctional and worthless our government is. Absolutely worthless as tits on a boar hog.
