Ready for a mental workout? Today’s challenge is a **Cryptogram**, a classic quotation puzzle frequently featured in daily publications. I source the best and most challenging ones to help keep our minds sharp and boost cognitive health!
In a Cryptogram, a single letter always stands for another letter.
(Example: AXYDLBAAXR might translate to LONGFELLOW. This is just an example and does not apply to today’s puzzle.)
If this is your first time, don’t be intimidated—the game is very addictive, and you will quickly master the technique! If you find yourself stumped, simply take a break and return to it later.
Please follow these guidelines for the best experience for everyone:
Feel free to post a fun or clever clue—the more tangential to the quotation the better! Just remember that your clue **must not contain the actual words** of the solved quote.
Good luck, and enjoy the challenge!
Here’s the text. Don’t know if you can make out the emojis

Sorry, everyone. Posting from my cell phone. Ping list will be forth coming.
Today’s Cryptogram
4 minutes or less is novice
3 minutes or less is excellent!
2 minutes or less is superior
90 seconds or less Pro
Sorry too, for posting our new intro twice. Also sorry for not having Hal’s Helper Link in the body of the intro. Sorry too for being me.
Posting the ping list for Nikos.
Y’all have a great day, enjoy today’s cryptogram and consider joining our ping list if you are not already on it.
Nikos, I can’t even imagine trying to post from my cell phone. I don’t even attach email to my phone. Before retiring, I worked as a Website developer so I know the “how” of doing these things, but the itty bitty screen on a cell phone is a daunting challenge to me.
Here’s hoping that your cell phone challenge means you are away on some wonderful magical trip to some place warm and beautiful.
Ooops, typo above in my clue. Not supposed to be a space between the word “letter” and the “s”. Should say “letters”.
Actually, no. Dropped my laptop off at the local Best Buy.
It’s getting cold here.
I’m still working on it:
New Scorecard
10 minutes or less excellent
Shame on you. Two demerits.
That five-letter word with the double letter is NOT what I would have expected. Meow.

Wow! Good, tough puzzle, sir! That one took me a while. Well done.
Whew! Done
I think this is the hardest Cryptogram ever posted.
