Well happy Halloween I guess. I’m not big on it. Doing my yearly Heavy Metal jam along, also some Steinman Bat Out of Hell Wife bought me a Jackson with some crazy on-board eletronics.. I don’t know how to act, I’m an old strat guy.

> Great green globs of greasy grimy gopher guts
Mutilated monkey meat
Chopped-up baby parakeet
Roasted eyeballs soaking in a pool of blood
And I forgot my spoon!

Nice!

The version I remember from childhood is:

Great green globs of greasy grimy gopher guts
Little birdies' bloody feet
Everything else that's good to eat
Nineteen tons of mutilated monkey meat
Gee I forgot my spoon!

I like your "chopped-up baby parakeet", that scans well... :-)

Ok I’m on you now. That was short. Electric Cumberbund was freaking awesome! Danced with my wife and the cat

Thanks!

The mark of great art is that every generation make it its own.

I’m a metal head - I dig it. The short track length and part of the song reminds me a little of A. Yarmak. He does some metal covers of video game soundtracks (like Sonic the Hedgehog, Cyberpunk and Silent Hill) and other good stuff.

Glad you liked. I do longer metal too, but in this case it didn’t seem appropriate.

Born and raised on strats.

Can’t stand Jacksons.

Nice opening riff, but to be death meatal or thrash, it needs some driving chugga chuggas!!! Triples baby!

That’s why it’s doom metal, rather than death metal or thrash - it’s slower and more ominous. These are more brutal (but still short):
