Reality is... There are a lot of drivers who crawl out of the Berth and start driving in just their underwear. They live in that Truck, it is their home. So the big deal about “almost naked” is actually a non-issue. It is common... When they get to a Truck Stop to park they crawl in the back and get dressed before going in.
This issue is like saying “I saw someone at Walwart in their Pajamas!”. Common...

Have you every driven for a living? They have do it all the time... I have had do it many times. When an officer knocks on your Sleeper and wakes you up and tells you to move your truck “right now”, you get in the seat and move it right now. They do not care if you are dressed or not, you better move right now or they will make you a personal pet project.

Lol, Yep, that is true with some. And then they go in the Truck Stop to catch up with one of their three wives spread across the country. I have known quite a few of these types over the years. It is a lonely job...
When Dad taught me to drive I got the speech about the car being a 4,000 pound missile and the destruction I could cause if I didn’t take it seriously. That people get killed every day due to reckless drivers.
Random web search tells me an 18 wheeler weighs about 35,000 pounds empty and has a federal max of 80,000 pounds fully loaded. I then searched on distance to stop. At 60 - 65 mph and road conditions it’s roughly 1 to 2 football fields, possibly more.
My point is mostly what Dad said decades ago. Persons who shouldn’t be driving these big rigs are dangerous, their putting lives at risk. Who ever is hiring these people are just as culpable IMO.
