I have heard of several people being killed by one punch or blow to the head.
One will never get into a bar fight if one does not go to bars.
Lock them up.
Why is he in a bar at 2 AM?
At 29, with a new baby coming…he should have never been there.
Sucker punch from behind? This should be more than just a manslaughter charge. Manslaughter is when 2 guys get into a fight and one dies. To sneak up from behind and sucker punch someone, that needs to be a voluntary manslaughter charge.
I wonder how often this had happened in the past.
Hotheads are everywhere. It wasn’t chivalry or toxic masculinity, it was criminal volatility and malicious cowardice.
One only needs to look at the mug shots to know it was mostly them boo boo. Super puncher looks mixed, regardless he has low impulse control and is a coward for hitting a man from behind. Neck tattoo buy must be the doctor of the group or maybe it’s Dr tarantula head can’t be sure these days.
If you are at a bar and see neck tattoos or nappy heads it’s time to make a tactical repositioning.
Look at the mug shots. This guy was not at the bar in the Ritz.
Getting kicked out of a bar for rowdy behavior... Been there done that in my younger days.
That says a lot and will probably be part of the defense.
Not defending the guy arrested but there’s no mention of interaction between the two other what happened outside.
I’m astonished at the reflexive victim shaming taking place on this thread. One would think that the guy snuck up on himself and punched himself in the back of the head, his own self.
Murder 2 is the right answer for a charge. One of the standards is “reckless disregard”. Man 2 is typically negligence and Man 1 might be that reckless disregard with a mitigating factor (insulted your mother).
The ol’ “nothing good ever happens after 11 pm”.
That's why revolvers hold 6 cartridges!
Nothing good happens in bars.
Should have been home with his family.
Nothing GOOD comes from drinking alcohol. NOTHING!
